Wendy is a NOAA EPP/MSI Earth System Sciences and Remote Sensing-II Scholar in Cohort 1 at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She is a PhD student majoring in Public Policy. Her research project looks at emergency response and recovery challenges in Puerto Rico. She focuses on disaster policy implications and economic troubles related to displacement in Puerto Rico
