Gwen is a NOAA EPP/MSI Earth System Sciences and Remote Sensing-II Scholar in Cohort 1 at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She is a PhD student majoring in Public Policy.  Her research project is on assessing social equity in disaster response and recovery using a case study of hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico
