NOAA-CESSRST-(II), a Cooperative Science Center (CSC), is funded by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration ( by a Cooperative Agreement, NOAA Award # NA22SE C4810016, under NOAA EPP/MSI Program). The participating institutions are geographically distributed across the nation.
Our Mission
The center aims to train cohorts of US citizen students who graduate and have the competencies needed to join the NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) mission enterprise workforce.
Through its work, the Center recruits, trains, and graduates post-secondary cohorts of students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and Social Science disciplines, with a focus on becoming a highly-skilled future workforce in support of NOAA’s mission.
